She was able to continue to delight audiences with her lead characters in films such as "Trading Mother" and "Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain'. The performances in these films was rewarded with a variety of high-profile awards at the start of her career. As she grew older that girl who missed the movie with her peers during shoots was beginning to feel unwelcome from the world of showbusiness. She was interested in acting but her interest in the profession waned as she was able to focus on studying. Her dream was to be a food writer, but all that was available was a fact-checker at Zagat Restaurant Guide. The next position she had at HarperCollins as an editor's assistant left her unhappy. Following the advice from her agent, she decided that she wanted to return to acting. The actress took classes to enhance her abilities. In a brief time span, she was offered the role of Liza for the show 'In The Loop'. Soon afterwards she began appearing in Off Broadway shows. She isn't sure what would happen if she'd not taken time away from acting, it is something she is glad that she did not.
