Barone was in the fourth season of Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham an executive chef, who was looking for Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was a cast member of Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone also played the ex-wife of Geller's character, Carol Willick, in the character's first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she resigned to start full-time work. She was in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995-1996) as well as in The War at Home between 2005 and the year 2007. Barone costarred in Daddio (2000).
